Let’s find out how you can screen mirror on your Firesick from your mobile device or PC.

How to Screen Mirror to Firestick: For Android Devices

1. Using your Fire TV remote, press and hold the Home button until a menu appears.

2. Select Mirroring or navigate to Settings > Display & Sounds > Enable Display Mirroring.

3. Your Firestick will enter mirroring mode, displaying a waiting screen for incoming connections.

4. Ensure your Android device and Firestick are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

3. Open your phone’s Settings and navigate to the Display section or press the search icon and type keywords like “Cast”, “Screen Mirroring”, or “Smart View” (the name may vary depending on your device). 

If you can figure out the name of your device’s screen mirroring feature, a quick Google search can provide you with an answer.

4. Select your Firestick from the list of available devices. If it doesn’t appear, ensure that Enable Wireless Display is checked in your Android settings. Once you’ve successfully connected, your phone screen should be displayed on your TV.

AirScreen is a third-party mirroring app that acts as a wireless streaming receiver, enabling your smartphone, tablet, or laptop to project its screen onto your TV via Firestick. Here’s how to use it: 

How to Install AirScreen on Firestick

1. Navigate to the search icon on your Firestick home screen and type in “AirScreen.”

2. Select the app from the search results and click Get to download it.

3. Once installed, click Open to launch the app.

Setting Up AirScreen for Screen Mirroring

1. Open the AirScreen app on your Firestick and follow the on-screen prompts to configure initial settings.

2. Ensure both your device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop) and Firestick are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

  • For iOS: Swipe down to access the Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, and select your Firestick from the list.
  • For Android: Navigate to Settings > Display > Cast, and choose your Firestick.
  • For Windows/Mac: Use their respective casting features (Miracast or AirPlay).

3. Navigate to Setting on the left panel menu, click on Cast and turn it On

4. On your mobile device, go to your screen mirroring app like “Cast”, “Screen Mirroring”, or “Smart View” (the name may vary depending on your device). 

5. Select AirScreen from the list of available devices.

6. You will get a notification asking  if you want to cast a single app or an entire screen. Select your preferred option and click on Start casting.

Screen Mirror on Firestick: For iOS Devices

1. AirScreen on Firestick

You can use AirScreen to mirror your iOS device screen on Firestick. Here’s how to go about it:

1. Navigate to the Home Screen on your Firestick.

2. Select the Search icon and type “AirScreen” into the search field.

3. From the search results, select the AirScreen app and press the center button on your remote.

4. Click Get to download and install the app directly from the Amazon App Store.

5. Once installed, click Open to launch AirScreen.

6. Upon opening the app for the first time, select Start Now to begin configuration.

7. Follow the on-screen prompts, which will display a QR code and URL for connecting your device. Use your iPhone’s camera to scan the QR code and if you are using a Macbook type the URL into your browser to connect

8. Confirm that both your Firestick and device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

9. Swipe down to open the Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring.

10. Select your Firestick from the list.

For Windows/Mac:

11. Use AirPlay or Miracast options in your system preferences to connect to your Firestick.

2. DoCast

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.

2. Search for “DoCast” and download the app.

3. Once installed, launch the app and grant necessary permissions, such as access to your local network and Bluetooth.

4. Ensure both your iPhone and Firestick are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

5. Open the DoCast app on your iPhone and select the  DoCast’s Fire Tv option

6. Select the screen option if you want to cast your entire screen. You also have the option to screen either Photo, Music, or Videos

6. Tap on the Start Mirroring option and select your device to beging mirroring your scree. 

You can adjust settings like mirroring quality or rotation preferences if needed.
